Interactive Fun for the Kids

They were three, five and seven at the time. We were flying from Seattle to Amsterdam and our three-year old decided to stay awake until he’d seen London from the air. On arrival we lost our five-year old, who decided to go to the bathroom by himself and lost his way. It was awhile before airport security found him checking out a litter of St. Bernards labeled to Cape Town. It was then that I decided next time we’d fill backpacks with fun and interesting activities. Learn the ropes. Rubber stamp a story on a blank page. Prepare a message in a bottle, imagining where it might beach… One new box for every waking hour of travel, it would have made for a fun and rested arrival. Compact, interesting, hours of interactive fun.
